Day 2: Tashknet - Urgench - Khiva, June 27, 2011
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning 7 am flight to Urgench, transfer to
Khiva. Sightseeing of Khiva: Ichan-Kala architectural complex (12-19th
c.) - a UNESCO World Heritage Site - the residence of the last Khan
including Ismail Khodja mausoleum, Mohammed Amin Khan madrassah,
Kunya-Ark Castle (16-17th c.), Kalta Minor tower, Tash-Hovli Palace
(19th c.), Pahlavan Mahmud mausoleum(14-18th c.), Juma Mosque (10th
c.). Overnight at the hotel Khiva.
Day 3: Khiva - Dashoguz - Kunya Urgench - Ashgabat, June 28, 2011
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to the border Shavat, crossing. Continue
to Kunya Urgench. Sightseeing tour: Mausoleums of Turabek Khanym, Il
Arslan, Tekesh, Najmeddin Kubra, Sultan Ali Minaret of Kutluk Timur,
also the remains of second minaret, Caravan Saray Keneurgench. Drive
to Dashoguz. Flight to Ashgabat. Overnight at the hotel in Ashgabat.
Day 4: Ashgabat, June 29, 2011
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Tolkuchka market. Sightseeing Ashgabat:
visiting Turkmenistan National museum, Ethnography of Turkmenistan,
Old Nissa, Anau ruins. Overnight at the hotel in Ashgabat.
Day 5: Ashgabat - Mary - Merv - Mary, June 30, 2011
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Mary, on the way visiting Nadir Shah
bastion. Arrive in Mary, settlement at the hotel. Visit Merv: Erk
Kala, Gyaur Kala, Sultan Kala, Bayram Khan Kala, Abdullakhan Kala,
Sultan Sanzhar and Ibn Zaid Mausoleums, Ruins of Muslim Mosque,
Buddist Temple, Grand & Little Kyz Kalas. Overnight at the hotel in
Mary.
Day 6: Mary - Bukhara, July 01, 2011
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart Mary and drive to Uzbek - Turkmen
border "Farap". Border formalities. Continue to Bukhara. Arrival to
Bukhara, settlement at to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in
Bukhara.
Day 7: Bukhara, July 02, 2011
Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing Bukhara: Ismail Samonid mausoleum
(a burial place of the Samani dynasty founder Ismail Samani, 10th
century), Kalon Minaret and Poi Kalon Mosque, Miri Arab Madrassa (16th
century), Ulugbek Madrassa (15th century) and Abdilazizkhan Madrassa
(17th century), Magoki Attory Mosque (is a very interesting
construction, with facade 12th century and reconstructed in 16th
century, with Zoroastrian temple ornaments underneath), Lyabi House
complex, Ark Fortress (a home to the rulers of Bukhara), Chor Minor.
Overnight at the hotel in Bukhara.
Day 8: Bukhara - Shakhrisabz - Samarkand, July 03, 2011
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Samarkand via Shakhrisabz. Sightseeing
Shakhrisabz including: remains of Ak-Saray Palace (Tamerlane's summer
Palace), Kok-Gumbaz Mosque (15th century), Khazrati Imom Ensamble
(14th century). Arrive to Samarkand, settlement at the hotel.
Overnight at the hotel in Samarkand.
Day 9: Samarkand, July 04, 2011
Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing Samarkand, which will include:
famous Registan Square (with Madrassa Sherdor 17th century, Tilla Kori
and Ulugbek 15th century), Shokhi Zinda Nekropole (important
pilgrimage place in Samarkand), remains of grandiose Bibi Khanum
Mosque, Gur Emir-Mausoleum (where conqueror Amir Temur (Tamerlane),
his two sons and two grandsons are buried, 15th century), Ulugbek
Observatory. Overnight at the hotel in Samarkand.
Day 10: Samarkand - Tashkent - departure, July 05, 2011
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Tashkent (4 hours). Arrive to
Tashkent, settlement at the hotel. Sightseeing Tashkent, including
visits to Chorsu Bazar in the old city part of Tashkent, Kukuldash
Mosque and Khast Imom - official religious center for Muslims in
Central Asia, consists of Barak Khan Madrassa (16 cent), Tilla Shaykh
Mosque - the Osman Koran, believed to be world's oldest Koran is kept
in the library of this Mosque, a mausoleum of Abu Bakr Kaffal Shoshi -
an Islamic scholar of 13-14th century. Transfer to the airport.

烏茲別克的簽證共花了兩個多星期, 提交的資料也不多, Rustam只問我要了passport copy, 公司名稱和地址就取得了LOI.
註: 今日(六月二十三日, 即距離出發日期只有兩天的時間) 收到Rustam的電郵告訴我烏茲別克的LOI批了, 但土庫曼的就被拒絕, 原因不明. 現在只有更改行程, 希望有足夠時間安排改到吉爾吉斯.
